Shipping Policy

The shipping charges below are for the continental United States only. We cannot ship to a Post Office Box or APO or FPO's. In most cases, we use UPS Ground and USPS as our primary shipping carriers. Outside the 48 contiguous United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, items shipped will be charged the actual shipping cost. Boater's Outlet reserves the right to limit quantities and/or charge actual shipping charges on bulk orders.

Note:  Any returned product that was purchased where shipping was included, including items that say "Free Shipping", will have the actual shipping cost incurred by BoatersOutlet.com deducted from the refund. All shipping charges will be refunded for product shipped in error or damaged. BoatersOutlet.com reserves the right to inspect all returned products and may reduce the credit if the product is returned damaged or if all the contents of the product are not returned. Some returned shipments may also require us to charge a restocking fee.

General Return Policy

We will exchange or issue a refund on merchandise that is new, unused and in the original packaging in resalable condition within 15 days of the delivery date.

Steps to Return an Item:

  1. You must contact BoatersOutlet.com for an RMA# before returning any merchandise.
  2. Place a copy of the invoice that was emailed to you inside the package. If you do not have a copy of this invoice please contact us and we will send you a new one.
  3. Package and seal your return with clear packaging tape, insulate the merchandise from damage, insure your package, and ship via a traceable method (USPS is not traceable). We do not accept C.O.D. or freight collect deliveries.
  4. Upon receipt of the return, BoatersOutlet.com will inspect the merchandise and issue a credit.
  5. A refund (less shipping costs) will be given when the return meets all criteria as stated in our return policy. Your refund will be applied to the original credit card. If the original card is not available, the refund will be given as a store credit. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it will take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.
  6. If upon inspection, merchandise cannot be returned to stock, it will be returned to the original purchaser and the original credit card will be charged for the return shipping.

BoatersOutlet.com reserves the right to inspect all returned products and may reduce the credit if the product is returned damaged or if all the contents of the product are not returned. Some returned shipments might also require us to charge a restocking fee.

Upon receiving your order, please inspect all merchandise for any defects or irregularities. If you are not completely satisfied with the merchandise when it arrives, you may return the item(s) for a full refund, less any freight charges. Please contact BoatersOutlet.com for an RA# before returning any merchandise. Place a copy of the invoice that was emailed to you inside the package. If upon inspection, merchandise cannot be returned to stock, it will be returned to the original purchaser and the original credit card will be charged for the return shipping.

Refused Shipments

Refused shipments will be charged a 20% restocking fee and the original shipping cost will be deducted from the return.

Returns with "Free Shipping"

Any returned product that was purchased where shipping was included, including items that say "Free Shipping", will have the actual shipping cost incurred by BoatersOutlet.com deducted from the refund. All shipping charges will be refunded for product shipped in error or damaged. BoatersOutlet.com reserves the right to inspect all returned products and may reduce the credit if the product is returned damaged or if all the contents of the product are not returned. Some returned shipments may also require us to charge a restocking fee.

Exchanges

Contact BoatersOutlet.com to receive an RA#. At this point, you have two options:

  1. To exchange an item by mail; print off the invoice that was originally emailed to you, place it in the box with the returned item(s) describing the name, part number, color, size and so on of the product(s) you wish to exchange for. Pack the merchandise in its original packaging with clear packaging tape, insulate the merchandise from damage, insure your package, ship it back using a traceable method (USPS is not traceable) prepaid to the below address. When we receive your package we will make the exchange. Standard shipping costs apply.

  2. Place an order online or on the phone with us for the desired products and we will ship the order out to you. Now you have one order on the way and one that you already received. Ship back the products that you want to return (See Exchanges #1 for shipping instructions) to us and when we receive your package, we will inspect the items and issue a refund.

Damaged Package

If the packaging appears damaged on the outside, make sure when signing the shipper's proof-of-delivery slip, you should include a notation stating the package is or appears to be damaged. You may also ask the delivery driver if you may inspect the contents for damage before signing the release.

Warranty

Some products we sell are covered by a manufacturer's warranty that requires items to be sent directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair. Contact BoatersOutlet.com for instructions on obtaining product warranty service. Manufacturer warranties typically do not cover normal wear and tear, impact damage, or negligent use.

If we made a mistake on your order, your return surface shipping will be reimbursed.

Custom Boat Covers

Custom covers are non-returnable. These covers are made to order for your boat. We have thousands of different patterns we can make in 3 materials and 30 different colors. If in a rare case you properly use the application guide and it does not fit we will make you a cover that does fit. If we cannot make a cover that fits we will gladly refund your money.

Custom covers qualify for our 12.5% restocking fee if exchanged for another cover of similar or greater value.

Styled-To-Fit Boat Covers

We will exchange or issue a refund (less a 25% restocking fee) on merchandise that is new, unused and in the original packaging in resalable condition within 15 days of the delivery date. Please call for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) before returning. Returns without an RMA# clearly marked on the outside of the box will be refused upon delivery.

Styled-to-fit covers qualify for our 12.5% restocking fee if exchanged for another cover of similar or greater value.

The following items may not be returned:

  • Items not returned in original packaging

  • Special orders
  • Closeout or discontinued items

Flex Fit Boat Covers

We will exchange or issue a refund (less a 25% restocking fee) on merchandise that is new, unused and in the original packaging in resalable condition within 15 days of the delivery date. Please call for a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) before returning. Returns without an RMA# clearly marked on the outside of the box will be refused upon delivery.

Bimini Tops

Credit Card Charge Dispute Policy

Prior to disputing a credit card charge with their bank or credit card company, the user agrees to notify BoatersOutlet.com and allow them to make a good faith effort to remedy the dispute. The user further agrees that no dispute will be initiated based on claims of fact that cannot be substantiated. The user further agrees that BoatersOutlet.com will have the right to recover all costs incurred that are associated with resolving un-notified or unsubstantiated disputes ($25 minimum)
